Marketing Assistant

Overview

Janover is looking to expand its marketing team with the addition of a Marketing Assistant. This Assistant would be expected to participate in the marketing process from research and planning to execution and analysis. This is a full time role based out of our Garden City office.  All interested candidate should provide your portfolio, a writing sample, and a link to a social media account that you write posts for.

Duties and expectations would include but not be limited to: 

• Participate in the development of branding and corporate identity initiatives
• Work with the marketing team on the development and implementation of marketing plans, including promotional calendars and programs, new service introductions and other marketing projects
• Social media posts
• Sourcing and suggesting swag
• Assist in client research initiatives
• Work with marketing team to implement innovative advertising, public relations, social media and events
• Create and update Google Analytics monthly analysis
• Work with new business development team on brand initiatives
• Assist marketing team in communications with agency providers, consultants, freelancers and other suppliers
• May assist in the updates of Janover's website, social media and email marketing program and provide analytics review
• Updating the marketing team on new initiatives in our industry and within the university community including trends
• Update Marketing and surveys log
• Participate in the facilitation of quality surveys

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time non-exempt position.

Qualifications 

• Minimum bachelor's degree in, marketing, or a degree in business, communications or a related field  with several marketing courses
• Be "tech savvy," quick to pick up new software and cloud-based tools
• Understanding of different marketing techniques
• Familiarity with the creative side of marketing
• Ability to work effectively and cooperatively across multiple team segments
• Experience with digital marketing such as social media and content creation/distribution
• Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
• Knowledge of GoDaddy, WordPress, Google Analytics, Constant Contact, Survey Monkey, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign are all pluses
